Growing Tomatoes ... What I need to know

I have been doing a lot of research on tomatoes some interesting things I have learned include: Tomatoes love the heat, however, like all plants they will wilt in too hot of weather. Tomatoes taste differently if they are grown in the shade vs. if they are grown in full sunlight. The variety of tomato can vary greatly and all tomatoes have different tastes from sweet to salty. Tomatoes also come in a variety of colors and sizes. The smaller cherry tomatoes typically do better in a potted setting than the larger variety of tomatoes.
