For my first five font directions I was really inspired by thin fonts. I like the mix of a thick line with the thin font. It is interesting to see the stark contrast of a strong element with a thinner more submissive one. I came up with five different directions. I think I came up with a good mix of strong thick lined direction with a thin simpler direction.

After I drew the fonts I moved to Fontstruct. I was surprised by how difficult it was to use the application. I felt extremely limited in what I was able to do when it came to curves and diagonal lines. I experimented with the letters A, G and S
